Blocklapse
Block puzzle · Gravity
Drag pieces onto a grid and fill a line to clear it. Every block puzzle does that. In Blocklapse the board then collapses: everything above the cleared line falls into the space it left.
That one rule changes what a good move is. The new arrangement can complete another line by itself, and that one can complete a third. A single placement can cascade, and a board you thought was dead can save itself on the way down.
There is no timer, and there never will be one. The pressure here comes from the board running out of room, not from a clock counting at you. Put the phone down mid-game and the position waits.
The destruction radiates outward from where you actually played, not left to right, so you can see which placement caused what.

Penguin Cave Studios is a small team. Every game here is designed, built, drawn and scored in-house by the same few people, which is why they are small and why they are finished.
They share a rule: understandable in one sentence, playable with one thumb. No accounts, no logins, no servers. Your progress lives on your phone and nowhere else.
They are free, and they carry ads to stay that way. What that means for your data is written out in plain language in each game's privacy policy.
