Flowjar

Pipe puzzle · Liquid physics

Liquid falls from a tank, runs down a tangle of pipes and fills the jars at the bottom. You control the valves. That is the whole game.

The catch is that a jar only counts if everything in it is one colour, and there is no undo for a jar: one drop of the wrong colour and it is spoiled. So Flowjar is not a reflex game. It is about reading the tangle before you touch anything, working out where each valve sends its liquid, and choosing the order.

The liquid is simulated, not animated. It pours, it splits at junctions, and it fills a jar from the bottom up, and it does not wait for you. There is a clock on each level, so the reading has to happen before you open anything. Open a second valve too early and two colours meet in a pipe you were counting on.

Penguin Cave Studios is a small team. Every game here is designed, built, drawn and scored in-house by the same few people, which is why they are small and why they are finished.

They share a rule: understandable in one sentence, playable with one thumb. No accounts, no logins, no servers. Your progress lives on your phone and nowhere else.

They are free, and they carry ads to stay that way. What that means for your data is written out in plain language in each game's privacy policy.
